The weather for the Wicked 10k on Saturday went from being in the low 70s (mid-60s but dry at race time–8am) with a 20% chance of rain in the afternoon to this:
Luckily the likelihood of rain is in the afternoon (90% chance) but I—like everyone else I’m sure—was hoping for a brisk sunny race! I guess one plus is that it will be nice and cool-and it won’t be nearly as windy as last year–at least that’s what the forecast says.
A huge thanks goes out to Tropical Storm Sandy, for making my goal of a sub-55 minute 10k even more challenging. Bring it.
