A beautiful Thanksgiving Day in Yorktown
The aroma of homemade dinner rolls filled the air inside our apartment….
…while a hickory smoked turkey had a certain quadruped drooling and begging for a taste….
…don’t worry, both Wash and Delilah got their fair share of turkey 🙂
The table was set and it was time to eat! This is my favorite holiday–all of the food was delicious….I’ll post some of the links to recipes–Ina’s Sausage and Herb stuffing is to die for!
And, yes, I cleaned my plate!
We sat down and watched a Charlie Brown Christmas to kick of the season…and let our bellies rest a bit before pumpkin cheesecake…
It doesn’t look as pretty as the Pioneer Woman’s version…but it was certainly tasty!
